A relatively new web site has a lot of information of interest to model builders of Stirling and Hot Air Engine.
He has a simplified valving arrangement for Flame Licker engines which eliminates any fancy cams, linkages and levers.
The owner, Jan Ridders is a first class model maker. His site is at:

http://heetgasmodelbouw.ridders.nu

There is another site with both stirling and steam engines. One tin can engine is horizontal. Lots of pictures and details to assist with building them. The owner is Roy Shepherd and has a very interesting site aside from models.

Stan, I built one of Jan's Flame Lickers, have not got it going yet, think I'll have to have another go at it, I'v got another one that I built from a diagram in an old Model Engineer magazine, think there is a copy of the diagram in my gallery. Ian S C
