Large rhombic drive beta stirling......someday.

This is a stirling engine project I may or may not build because I keep changing the design. I intend to use a stock volkswagen 1.6L air cooled cylinder coupled to a diesel cylinder liner. I will try to weld an end plate on the cylinder liner, but am not sure if it is steel or grey cast iron. The copper pieces are marking where the flattened heater tubes will go. I have stalled out on this project, since I don't posses the machine tools to do what I want with it. I only have a mini-lathe and mini-mill with few cutting bits. What I really need is a bandsaw and more cutters and holders and jigs.
I made the rhombic gear housing only to find out I forgot to calibrate the mill for 0 degrees. So I wound up with bearing holders that side load each other when tightened down. I have to do it all over again on the account of me being forgetful. Let me know if you think it has promise or not.
