Will your company eventually produce a stirling engine in the 200W and up range? A large market would be out there for you, even if it is not a practical one.

Our main business is small models, but not to say we won’t build bigger units in the future. If we had enough interest we would consider designing a large Stirling, as it is easier to build larger engines than small precise models.

If you build small machines, then the tolerance is also very small, and the larger the machine, the larger the tolerance can be. When building our engines, we deal in measurements less than 0.01 – 0.05mm in some of our parts, this is also the case with things like the 10mm bearings we use, they have to be very precise, as they are so small.

Steve

That's very nice looking model. What price range are you selling them for?

Our SE1 is not a small miniature engine it weighs 1.352 Kilograms and measures L: 233mm X W: 122mm X H: 155mm, all parts are machined from solid material, aluminium, brass and stainless steel. Price is AU$739 plus postage

More models hopefully coming soon. Keep an eye on our site for upcoming details and you can email us from there to. We will also be selling spare parts soon, so home constructors can have a go at building machines, and purchase things like flywheels, crank shafts, bearings, wood bases and so on. We will also give free advice to anyone that are stuck with there own construction, it is so frustrating building an engine that wont run. And again when time allows, we will probably put a home constructors suggestion page up on the site, things like dead space on the pistons, bearings etc,

Hope that helps,

Regards,

Steve
