has anyone tried using two displacer cylinders to power one piston?
is there any reason is would not work? other than more friction?

TK motors has built a couple of them. He uses a diaphragm power piston with a displacer on each side, very ingenious, I think.
Look for TK motors on u-tube or this site.

Never mind,

Must use the main search page and specify the Stirling and "Hot Air" Engine Forum apparently. Otherwise it only searches this thread. I keep forgetting that.
