I just recently posted a video on YouTube of my latest engine running on a little coffee can pellet gasifier stove that I built. Not terribly impressive but satisfying to see it run anyway. Here's the link if any are interested.

Nice work :) Your engine runs very well. May I ask where you obtained your flywheel?

I wrote a bit on your introduction site. It takes quite a bit of power to run a car alternator, I'v got one as a portable power supply, but it has a 3hp Kawasaki 4 stroke.

Thanks Ian, - I saw your reply. For a start I think I will be content if the engine actually works. I have tracked down a nice old 35mm diameter flywheel too, - somebody was advertising it as a 'garden ornament'. :eyeroll:

Sure it's not 350 mm, Even the flywheel on my smallest motor is bigger than that(the little beam engine in my gallery), that motor has a 3/8" bore power cylinder.
