I shall start building a new diaphragm to can stirling,i have seen someone with a rubber hose, they look like they are stabile.so what shall i build the diaphragm houseing off?
i have seen some diaphragm with a screw cap, in the middle, why??

so my plans is to build a accurate diaphragm with a rubber hose, but i need some help here, what do i use in the middle of the diaphragm

One more question before i order the piano wire to my new flywheel shaft/crankshaft,is 3mm to thick or is it a good size to use as flywheel shaft?.i am also gonna order ball bearings to the shaft, but i need to hear what you mean about That first.

Are there some info about the rubber diaphragm out there somewhere?,i can find anything than just a running stirling with the rubber diaphragm!!

I don't build tin can motors, but I suggest that you look in google, put in tin can Stirling Engine plans, and see what you find. That might have you spending an hour or so, you could also put in Stirling Engine with diaphragm. Ian S C
