New to the Forum! MSOE Engineering Design Team

Hello everyone!
My name is Charlie and I am posting here on behalf of a senior design team at Milwaukee School of Engineering. I am one of four senior mechanical engineers that are working on a project with the goal of implementing a Stirling engine to generate electricity on a microgrid scale. Think INFINIA Power Dish, but not necessarily solar powered.
We are in the design phase of our engine now and have previously focused on research, primarily. The engine that we are designing will be a free-piston beta type that incorporates a linear alternator (like I said: INFINIA!). As we get into the nitty-gritty of this project, I may be seeking advice from this forum. I have had great experiences on other forums that I have participated in and I look forward to those I will have here!
Cheers to the Stirling Cycle!
