vawt stirling heater
Use a vertical wind turbine to run a stirling as a heat pump. Draw off the heat to heat a room . Could be a window unit if the wind lines up.

Iam guessing not everyone realizes that if you mechanically turn a stirling engine instead of heating it ,it becomes a heat pump . You can harvest heat from it . The video shows this. The other video is a vertical wind turbine. You can use the wind to turn the stirling to make heat. Heat your home with wind. Not a good idea?

The vapor compression cycle would probably be the way to go. Maybe use an old refrigeration unit that had a burn out electric motor and hook the vawt up to it. But almost everyone here has a stirling engine. Not much to make a wind turbine.

Actually a friction heater would be the best way to go. Really simple. Turbine turns the friction generator to heat water.
