hii guys i want to share this nano lathe , can change this to LATHE, MILLING, DRILL PRESS
i have buy this lathe , this is nice, great, precision for mini 3 funtion in one machine.
thins heavy for that size because it's full cast iron, solid metal.
this is made in chine, the factory name is SIEG, i think it's the best quality machine factory in china
the lathe is about $350, and the convertion kit which can change to mill and drill is $130
from littlemachineshop.com

The Sieg range of tools seem to have a good name, I have no personal expiriance of them. With a bit of imagionation, some quite good work could come from a machine like this.
I'd proberbly go for a machine about the size of the Sieg C3/Super C3, because I think one would soon get frustrated with the little one. You can get a vertical slide etc for the C3. For drilling, you can get a small drill press for possibly about 100 UK pounds or less, I know they are available here in NZ for not much over $NZ100. Or you can go second hand.
The usual recomendation is buy the biggest you can afford, or have room for, you can make little things on a big lathe, but you can't make big things on a little lathe.
Only my oppinion, my second lathe is an old English one called a Super Adept, it has a center hight of 1 5/8", and 6" between centers, and it has a tiny 4 jaw chuck, and uses no., 0 morse tapers in the head and tail stocks, so I know small!!! Ian S C

yes you right, c2 or c3 is ideal for mini lathe. and multi purpose too.
but this is for compare with sherlin, taig, emco unimat lathe.
for these size and price i think the nano would be nice one.
now i looking for the 4 jaws independent for this one ,
because it's cant fit on taig chuck. ali

Not sure where you live, but I'v got a cataloguefrom ArcEuro Trade in UK, and the C 1 costs 325 UK pounds, and the C 3/ Super C 3 UK 391 UK pound/498.95 UK pound. I would not like you to be disapointed after buying something thats too small, You won't alwas be watch making, the average amature clock maker uses a much larger machine than this. If you get something like the C1, C2, C3 you can cut threads, and do quite a bit that an even bigger lathe can do, as long as you have patience, with these little machines you just have to take your time. Which ever way you go, welcome to turning, its as addictive as Stirling Engines. Ian S C
