With the VCR motor, without much work you have a 3 phase alternator. The hub dyno is belt driven, as it's set up today the reduction is 2 :1, and with a load (transistor radio), the dyno was running at 110rpm. I'll have to get a photo of it, but I'm a bit busy on another motor at the moment, I'll get that finished, then I'll see about photographing a few bits and pieces. Ian S C

So as I understand it, Your stirling engine is running at 220rpm, and the dyno at 110rpm. If you ran the dyno straight, without reduction at 220rpm this would be too fast?

full, no, but the voltage would be too high for the transistor radio that is the load. I have not had the ammeter on it to check the current, maybe I'll try that in the next day or so. Ian S C
