Huston, we have a problem…
Last week I remained hopeful despite that fact that the status has not changed. It is still at an ISC (International Sorting Center) in New York, New York. So I contacted the USPS and was told I needed to contact the seller. Below is the email thread (backwards)…

Hello Mr. Sultan,
I have been checking the status of the package everyday and it appears as though it was last tracked to an international sorting center in New York on October 7. I have talked with our USPS Service Center, they confirmed that it was last tracked as per the above and that the seller needs to initiate a lost package tracking with your local postal center in Pakistan. The gal I talked with at the USPS Service Center indicated that it was more than likely missing some paperwork and that if you were to contact the Pakistan Post as a lost or missing package, you should be able to resolve the issue in no time...
Please let me know what you discover!

Pakistan post says item has been shipped out to destination country and been in the hands of USPS since Oct. 7, 2012. This is not the first time that we shipped to USA, we always a complete set of export documents with the shipment, item is still showing in NY sorting facility when tracking is used. Please try to find out from your end and we 'll do the same from our side Postal.

Hello Mr. Sultan
Thank you for your prompt response! Actually it is not in the hands of the USPS, it was last tracked at an International Sorting Center in New York and has been registered as such since Oct 7. The USPS reference was that it was to go there next, but hasn't made it to the USPS centers or it would have continued the tracking process. Therefore I phoned the USPS Service Center at 1-800-275-8777 and talked with Alice. She could only tell me the same things you and I see on the web page, she doesn't know anything more. And since it was not in the hands of the USPS, she can't do anything further. Therefore she recommended that I contact you to start a missing package with the Pakistan Post. I tried to do the same but was told that it has to come from the country of origin and in particular the seller must initiate the process. I'm sorry to trouble you and believe you have had great success as I read every one of your eBay feedback's before I committed to this purchase.
Cheers,
-J
