Hi, I'm new here. I'm an Australian inventor. I built my first collapsing steam water pump 20 years ago. I have built a rotary Stirling and a biscuit-tin shaped machine. I understand that the Achilles heal of these devices is that the thick vessel walls that allow us to use high pressure, well those walls are the limiting factor in heat transfer, and that the temperature difference across the vessel wall x2, is what makes use of low temperature differentials impossible. Earlier today I lodged a provisional patent in Australia that outlines a method to bypass that limiting factor, removing the Achilles heal from these devices for good. I understand that if I am right, the world will be a different place. I won't hide the details and am ready for your judgement.

circumventing the impedance to heat/cold transfer by the thick walls of the cylinder. That was done by 2 mutually exclusive events, which are alternated.

First heat in a liquid in transferred by 2 way flow and pump between a thin source vessel and a intermediary high pressure vessel. The second is to use the incompressibility of the liquid to cycle that liquid into the main cylinder of the motor, but behind a thin wall.

Stirling engine must have much higher efficiencey than TEG.

Looks like that’s me to be the new one :) living in the netherlands, retired.
Want to make just the best stirling, have the concept ,but need to find out much first like the best volumes for the displacer /working cylinder.
The plan is for a gamma ,and i always thought that if the displacer goes to the cold end the gas heat up and drive the power piston.But some movies show it the other way around. Nice can of worms :)
Basic idea will be a multi cylinder, hot end temp 400 to 1000 , cold end 10 to 40 deg.C. 50 CC/cylinder. for a start.

It's really only the lay out of the engine that makes the difference between ALPHA, and BETA, every thing still works the same, ratio's are the same, just that in the BETA motor the transfer from one cylinder to the other is cut to zero.
When the displacer is at the cold end, the gas is heating up, and the displacer is moving back, and the piston is moving down.

Hi! I did post a separate intro but will recap here. I'm new to hot air/Sterling engines but do have a background in mechanical things, fixing and tinkering. While considering a small steam engine for a motorized bicycle the Sterling is very intriguing and may be a more desirable solution if I can first determine its suitability to this application.
