Hei
i was testing my new lathe, and suddenli before i knew it, i had done a cylinder, i was not the meaning to build it in this size, but i looks ok, i will make all the parts so i can screw it together..it has a lenght on about 200mm, and is 6.5 wide in diameter, i have weldet a copper piston of a plate, and it is about 125-130mm..and it has a diameter on about 61-63mm,..do you think this will start??.i am thinking of building a gamma type, but should i build a beta instead?? what is the most strongest of those types, cause i really want to mount a dynamo/generator

Re: Testing lathe and cylinder build
There is little if any difference in power between GAMMA and BETA motors if well built, and the GAMMA motor is the simplest one to build.
