Hi,
I am not sure if this would be called free piston or ringbom type; I cant make it from the video how the displacer disk is connected to membrane(s). The comments in the video are useless, but i like the idea of not having friction or more then one hole in the pressure vessel. Please help me reverse engineer or just understand the parts of this one?

Basicly a free piston motor is a Ringbom, that explains the displacer side. The crankshaft and flywheel is replaced by some sort of spring, this could be a mechanical spring, a gas spring, or as I use, the like poles of a pair of magnets repelling each other (I'v used the first and last), the magnetic system seems to be the easiest, I use the magnets that I salvage from old micro wave ovens. One slight difference with these motors is that the power piston(if a piston is used) should be as heavy as you can make it, the weight of the magnet on the diaphragm would be about right. Ian S C
