I understand the basics of a sterling engine and have put together a couple of the simple engines I've seen on line. I'd like to know more about designing one myself.
Can anybody suggest a good book, website, patent, or anything else on the subject worth reading?
Thanks

I'm waiting for the day they stop denaturing ethanol at the fuel pump. Wahoo.
Hmmmm. I thought I replied to this, but cannot find it, now. If this brings about a double post, please forgive me.
I recommend James G. Rizzo's The Stirling Engine Manual and The Stirling Engine Manual, Volume II . You can obtain them from Camden Publishing in England.
I also recommend Daniel Lyonnet's excellent book, Stirling Engines Manual for Enthusiasts. You can order it from his Web sites. I have a link to them on this page:

Good luck.
