Hello,
I have been a project to design a solar-powered submersible pump (using a gamma stirling engine) and my team managed to create a design and a prototype, however I was assigned a task to research how we would calculate the engine's efficiency? how much work does it take to raise the water? how much work needs to go into our engine? and how we would calculate the size of our solar dish? Volume of the cylinder? but I have no idea what your average stirling engine dimension/efficiency is..
I have uploaded the well dimensions we were given (I believe someone said it could produce 300 Watts), I would appreciate it if someone could help me out! (formulas, and calculations are great!)
Thanks,
Ahmed

Ahmed, you forgot one dimention important as pumping goes, you have a well 20M deep, but how far above the well does it require to be pumped to, this must also be included in the measurement. Ian S C
