looking for a realy big stirling engine...

Hi, I am new to forum, and first post (except "Hi, I am here") is a question :) I am looking for a BIG Stirling engine to cogeneration system. Could anyone post a known commercial produced big Stirling engine?

NitaS, Try info@whispertech.co.nz And look at the Whispergen, or just google Whispergen, That's one designed in New Zealand, and in mass production in Spain for the European market. Ian S C

Thanks for rply, but whispergen, are a bit to small I gues. Heat Production:7,5-14,5 kW Energy Production: 1 kW. I need engine that is about 200kW-400kW or even more :)

For an engine that size you had better get in touch with the Swedish submarine builders, Kockums, you'll need a large bank balance, but big Stirling Engines cost a very large amount of money. Ian S C

Heh, either that or build a billion walking beam engines of the size our host provides the plans.

Theropod2, I think the Kockums one might be cheaper, specially if you'v got to buy all the drink cans, and drink them. Ian S C
