Hi,
I read a article: "A LOW TEMPERATURE DIFFERENTIAL STIRLING ENGINE FOR POWER GENERATION".
The design is a very interesting form, but I couldn't find more about the engine.
Does any have more data about that?
Thanks,
Airrooco
The result of a generator build at U. Canterbury in 2009?
Re: The result of a generator build at U. Canterbury in 2009
TRY THIS
ir.canterbury.ac.nz/bitstream/10092/2916/thesis_fulltext.pdf
This is a thesis by Calib c. Lloyd, from 2009. Its a BIG motor, and pressurised to 10 bar. Designed for geothermal generation, so it could end up down a bore hole, mabe 5 Kilometers deep, or however deep required to get the heat required.
Or look for something like this on google, or where you found the other site, this will tell all about the LTD motor. unfortunately it is unfinished. Canterbury Univesity engineering dept specialises in Stirling engine studies. Ian S C

Thanks for the link.
My Chrome report:Maybe the link was gone.
I'm looking for a engine generate electricity from hot water in tropical area.
This is the only one might work I could find so far.
Does University of Canterbury still study LTD stirling engine ?

Re: The result of a generator build at U. Canterbury in 2009
I have no direct connection with Canterbury University, but you could proberbly try asking them. I think that Caleb C. Lloyd is now Caleb C.Lloyd PhD, The LTD motor was for his thesis for his doctrate, so whether he continued after he graduated, I don't know. Other graduants form Whisper -Tech, to design and build the WhisperGen, Stirling Engine generator.
If you google C.C.Lloyd low temperature stirling engine. You should find [PDF]A Low Temperature Differential Stirling Engine for Power Generation. Ian S C

AirRooCo, If you got it, your doing better than I am. I'm on dail up, so I went to the local library, 'cause they have a free broadband hook up, could'nt get it, PDFs are blocked grrrrr, got to go out soon. Ian S C
