Great job, just one question.

Is it supposed to be that loud or is it just a really sensitive camera? It almost sounds like a piston is bottoming out with how loud the video is.

it indeed is a very sensitive microphone.

Hi,

These students are (depending what grade) 14 to 18 years old.
They all love to work with this kinda project. I have several classes, in total about 50 pupils.
The lights are also made by these kids. PowerLED's pointing upward onto a curved highly reflective foil. When the lights of the room dim, it's a wonderfull sight.

This is how our open door looked like last year :

All was electrically powered and RC. But that's history.

From this year on all will change. Back to basics. I'm planning to work only with Stirling driven projects in my classes.
The first thing I have in mind is a copy (scalemodel) of 'The eye' (London). It will be powered by a two cilinder stirling. Diameter of the wheel nearly 9 feet.

HIGH SCHOOLERS! wow great work, Im in grade 12 now and as far as i can see there may only be one person close to me in engineering in my school. everyone else is kinda dumb or not interested in building things... (*it also doesnt help that the new teacher has ruined the shop for the year)

Great job getting the young ones involved, programs like these are needed in more places!
