Stirling engine shed project

Post by Kayjas »

Hi all
I want to make a sterling engine in my shed. I have a small lathe, mini milling machine and lots of metal offcuts etc.
Having recently restored a SE I have a basic understanding of how it works and that friction and gas leaks are troublesome. With that in mind does anyone have any drawings of a small SE I could use to make this? I would prefer not to build a walking beam type as this is what I restored and therefore want to try building something a bit different.
Many thanks in advance...
