Displaced vs piston size?

Post by ETS Engine »

Hey i was wondering if about making an engine.
I was wondering if more total volume makes more power (bigger displacer with same size power piston). I searched the internet but couldn’t find anything.

Not necessarily. Why a bigger displacer but not a correspondingly bigger power piston?

Generally, historically at least, all parts of the engine would scale together. There could be exceptions for various reasons.
