Stirling Engines Powerplants

Hello everyone,

I'm a master student of mechanical engineering from Portugal but studying in T.U. Vienna. i'm doing a paper about Stirling Engines and the possibility to bring it to some system to produce electric energy in a industrial way, from Solar or Geothermal energy.

Someone knows if there are already efforts to try this or if there are already some thesis/paper about it. I just cant find anything related with industry.
