My alpha stirling engine dont work

Hi guys, y build a alpha stirling engine but it dont work

I have been testing different configurations of crank length, dead volume and flywheel weight, but the engine does not move.
Please help.

Hello,
I had the same problem as you a long time ago.
For me it was just that the temperature was not high enough. For an alpha Stirling you need a very high temperature, more than 400 ° C.
You can help this engine run and put a iron wool in the base of the hot syringe. This helps the gas to take the hot temperature. You should also use a flame.

I think the copper tubing (typically this type engine uses plastic tubing) might be a problem. Copper conducts heat almost instantaneously. The plastic conducts heat, not at all.
