Go for it Thanh. They can be very finicky to get set up, but once working they sound real neat.
I have made two in my time and found that cast iron brake cylinders work well with a very thin walled steel or stainless steel piston as the expansion of the metals are near the same, though sometimes stainless steel can warp.

Beautiful Thanh - Is that an alloy Cylinder used for the piston housing.
Love Ian's Flame licker he had built some years back.
