Hello, thank you for your help I have everything together and my piston is as air tight as i can get it, it feels a little springy, when i try to pull it out and then let go it springs back in and bounces a bit then stops. at first i didnt think i had enough heat so i used alcohol and then gasoline ...

How tight and how to loosen?

How much "compression" should my simple lamina engine have? if i have too much compression how do i lesson the amount of compression? I thought that everything was supposed to be as air tight as possible?

just beautiful man, very good work. a few questions though, Why are you testing your engine in a conveniant store? lol also is this actually watetr cooled? how did you do it?

K.I.S.S. make it multi cylinder in radial format. Make all cylinders have a shared connection to the flywheel. solves timing and machining/fabrication nightmares. just keep it level and keep it smooth. I'm working on a five cylinder lamina based on this "single connection radial format"

Awesome idea, I ended up modeling a hole for a "main pin" through the side of the piston similar to the way a piston in an ICE works. Oh and I should mention that I have been calling you "Cool copper alchohol burner guy" in my head for weeks now lol, your model engine (on youtube...
