A would like to design my Ross D-60 Stirling Engine using Solidwork design software
Are there any CAD reference that i can get to design this stirling Engine?

Re: Piston Displacer or Dual Piston Engine
I have found this formula in a Stirling Engine Design Manual Book P = Bn x p x f x Vo P - engine power Bn - beale number p - pressure f - frequency Vo - ? i have determine all the value of P, Bn, p and f. I just want to know what is Vo represent, is Vo a total volume or expansion volume ? If both ar...

Re: Are there any specific formula for Ross D-60 Stirling engine
https://www.ohio.edu/mechanical/stirling/engines/Ross_yoke.gif Based on this image, do i assume that the dead space for this Stirling engine is just the dead space of heater, regenerator and cooler? Do the dead space include the expansion and compression space? If so do i just assume the value of t...

Re: Are there any specific formula for Ross D-60 Stirling engine
The dead volume is that left at the ends of both pistons plus the transfer port, and the clearance at the side of the Heylandt Crown on the hot piston. Ian S C So, we can just give any value for the dead volume are we? or are they any ways to determine the dead volume in expansion and compression p...

Re: Book about striking engine design
currently i trying to determine the crank angle X for my design of Stirling engine D-60 that used inverted yoke as it crank mechanism. What is the crank angle X that required for the expansion and compression piston to be at TDC and BDC? Hope you guys could help me a bit how to determine the crank a...

Re: Book about striking engine design
Yes, i have download and read the book. However, they just give the specification of the model. The calculation are not stated.
That why i need a good source of revision specifically to find the right formula to build Andy Ross Ross D-60 Stirling engine.
Hope you guys will help me?

Book about striking engine design
Are there any book that i can refer to that have a complete description about Stirling engine?
I really needed some reference for me to construct an Alpha Stirling engine.

Re: Are there any specific formula for Ross D-60 Stirling engine
Are there any specific formula to calculate dead volume for expansion and compression cylinder?
Also,
are Max. hot volume the same as expansion swept volume? and
are Net swept volume the combination of expansion and compression swept volume ?

Are there any specific formula for Ross D-60 Stirling engine
I'am currently trying to fabricate Andy Ross Stirling engine model D-60.
But firstly, i need to know if there is a specific formula used to calculate the volume of the cylinder
Can you guys help me?
