The Al-Cool Fan belonged to my Grandfather he bought it at a hardware store in 1917. I built a copy of the Al-Cool fan about 20 year ago. Since then I have built several other engines. Hi Wayne, Welcome to the forum! A couple of simple formulae to keep in mind. 1) The displacer cylinder is ideally divided into 1/3 cool and 2/3 hot.
