Re: Ringbom had change direction or stop?
Perhaps you are right. Dimensions of my engine barely corresponds to Mingfei Chen(2.19, from him book) formula (1-Tc/Th-Ar/A)*L*A/(lp*Ap) < 1, where is Tc cooler temperature Th heater temperature Ar cross section area of displacer driving rod A cross sectional area of displacer L 1/2 stroke of displ...

After total warming-up it rotated in one direction with gud speed(240 rpm) but after 3-5 minutes just very qucly (2-...

Re: Correlation size of the steel wool displacer with norma
More thanks, I guessed about this factors, but I wait opinion of experienced builder engines with this type of displacer, who can give a quotient. In my opinion, it is about 5-8, depending of a temperature and speed. Perhaps every time not less than 5, but interesting a length depending of speed - 1...

Correlation size of the steel wool displacer with normal?
Does anybody have experience to determine compliance approximate dimensions between steel wool displacer and normal? If swap volume of the normal displacer is one what is the swap volume of the steel wool displacer at the same sizes?
