ON the end of the spoke that connects to the rim there should be threads and a odd shaped nut one uses to true up the rim by varying torque on the spokes.

I think you are adding complexity where it isn't needed and may waste energy by the addition of processes to the whole affair. Every step where the heat is moved without doing work in the engine is potentially wasted.

Wood gas could be collected and pressurized in a large large large propane tank. Even if not made liquid a 5,000 gallon tank could store a lot of this gas. If stored the particulates would settle out. Didn't they used to make coal gas and light entire cities with the stuff?
